carmaster
Yesterday i downloaded the Paradise RP gamemode. I have a server my comunnity wants to have a server with that. I know basic lua (specially Garrysmod Lua) and I have a few problems. 1- I dont know what goes in what resource. 2- I cant find commands. 3- Do I have to populate manually the database? 4- Is there any type of tutorial on how to make post-instalation configuration and instructions of that gamemode? Thanks PS: If you're going to say THAT GAMEMODE IS ALLWAYS THE SAME please dont post what helps you doing that? Link to comment
dzek (varez)
1. Resources have names that can tell you something about it. Idk if anyone knows them all, and will post HUGE POST about what is what. Reading through codes will be faster i think. 2. Search for "addCommandHandler" inside all files 3. Idk. Read INSTALLATION/README/whatever included with Paradise GM ? 4. Look on point 3. Link to comment

dzek (varez)
1. this is the reason why you probably won't get answer. spending 1h to explain meaning of each resource and writing 1000 lines post = waste of time (ofc, you can do it after discovering, would be helpful) 2. use something better than windows build-in search. 3. afaik - a lot of database modifications need to be done (like: adding fractions etc). but never used this thing. 4. to run basic server - probably not much, a lot of noobs have paradise server, so it shouldn't be very hard.
