ZachOwns Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 When I try to install MTA it is alerted as Adware, is that meant to happen? i'm unsure about instaling it now, any comments would be appreciated.
0 dzek (varez) Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 if you downloaded it from https://mtasa.com/ then it's safe to install. What antivirus said it contain adware (btw: weird. Adware is software that is displaying advertises - MTA isn't )? Norton and one other antiviruses are giving false positive. And why some AV says it's dangerous: MTA is modifying GTA memory while running to achieve multiplayer gameplay - some viruses are doing the same, but not with GTA but your whole Windows. That's why some AV's are giving false alarms. 0 dzek (varez) Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Some AV's or firewall can also block moment of running MTA - you need to disable them until main menu appears. Then you can re-enable to be safe Multi theft auto tools - replace cars and peds, move your map or compile your Lua files online! programista php rzeszów Need free webhosting for your small site?
