CentOS 5.x 64 bit?

Hello,

My clan in interested in ordering a 64 bit CentOS 5.x server, but after having trouble with CentOS in the past I want to make sure it will work with 64 bit.

You need to emulate a 32 bit environment on centOS using a couple of libraries, if you choose to go with 64 bit.

Ok for the host I am wanting to go for it will 64 bit, do you know what libraries I will need?

Sorry to double post,

I now have the vps, got the pcre error and thats out the window now (solution:

cd /lib

ln -s libpcre.so.0.0.1 libpcre.so.3

)

But anyway im now getting this error

'/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /root/ga

mes/mta/fr/xmll.so)

ERROR: Loading XML library (xmll.so) failed!'

idk other linux than debian but if you can install packages with CentOS - install ia32-libs.

Also searching would be a very good idea libpcre.so missing library is very common problem, like every 2 posts one is about this
