Can't install MTA

For some reason it won't let me install it...I have the file sitting on my puter but when i try to install thing is blank and wont let me click on it... I downloaded the downgrader patch from filefront to so i dont see why it wont let me.

Try redownloading the installer.

Which version of Windows are you running?

Right click the installer and click "Run As Administrator".

Nope that didn't work.

It is in the right spot? Cause this is what pops up.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\gta_sa.exe

It doesn't matter where you place the installer. Try moving it to the Desktop and running it from there (as administrator).

Yea i don't get that either. So basically i'm stuck with this version? Cause i couldn't play certain games as it was telling me to download the new one. What i don't get is why don't you just add an update thing in there like most programs do?

1.0.4 includes an update prompt. I don't know why 1.0.4 doesn't work for you, perhaps ccw would be able to shed some light.

I actually just installed the new version...I think it was cause i didn't have that microsoft program that installed with version 3 and now that it's installed it let me install the new one.
