Random Lag Spikes

Hi, I get random lag spikes in MTA 1.0.4 out of no where. Does anyone know what may causes it or has a solution? Since it's quite annoying when you're playing and suddenly there is a masive lag spike.

I already searched on the forum and Google but I couldn't find anything. (Or I just missed it)

Anyways, thx for your time and I hope this is getting solved. ^^

Thx for the reaction, I set my Asynchronous Loading to on but it didn't work. Any other solutions?

was this happening all the time since you first time installed mta or started happening suddenly?

It happend when I installed it. I tried to re-install it but nothing changed.

Do these lag spikes happen in any specific server and/or in single-player GTA?

Try updating your DirectX runtimes. What's your OS and video card?

Didn't play GTA San Andreas single player recently but so far I know it doesn't happen there, and DirectX is updated. Videocard: Asus EAH5770 CuCore

Make sure you're running Catalyst 10.9 drivers.

Lag can mean many things. Please describe the effect you see.

The only thing I see is 2-3 FPS.

Does it happen in all servers?

Yes, it even happens in the Map Editor.

How long does the effect last?

It lasts for 3-5 seconds.
