MTA installation directory

kingsmill77

Question

whenever i try to start up MTA i get the loading screen then a box which tells me to browse my files to

"select your Grand Theft Auto: San andreas installation directory"

so i try to find it i click on the folder marked GTA san andreas and it says that

"could not find gta_sa.exe at this path. Choose another folder?"

so i try it again and again until there is no possibility it is in any folder so i click cancel instead of ok it then comes up with

"registry entries is missing. Please reinstall Multi Theft Auto: San andreas"

i know where the gta_sa.exe is and i have reinstalled the MTA several times now but it won't work

please help :?

Please confirm you have gta_sa.exe in your GTA San Andreas install directory using windows explorer

It is usually here:

C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\

or here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\
