0 Towncivilian
gta_sa.set in the "GTA San Andreas User Files" in your "Documents" directory. Though I believe the GTASA uninstaller does not delete it. Link to comment
0 dno221
i reinstalled it and when i try to start the game i get an error: microsoft visual c++ runtime library - runtime error! what version of visual c++ does MTA need? Link to comment
0 Towncivilian
Download VSC++ 2005 redistributable and VSC++ 2008 redistributable and install them. I'm not sure which one MTA requires (or if it requires both), so just install both. Link to comment
0 dzek (varez)
Towncilvilian - i believe he was asking about MTA configs, not GTA.. MTA config file: ..\Multi Theft Auto San Andreas\MTA\coreconfig.xml Link to comment

0 dno221
still not working but no error this time, after i click the icon i see the spashscreen then nothing happens Link to comment
0 MTA Team ccw Posted October 20, 2010 MTA Team Share Posted October 20, 2010 If older versions don't work, then something must have changed in your setup. Try to remember what you installed/changed at around the time MTA stopped working. One thing you could try is to downgrade your graphics drivers to an earlier version. Also, please check that GTA single player is still functioning correctly. Link to comment
