playstation 2 controller in mta?

how would i go about getting my ps2 controller to work in MTA like i play sa on ps2?, it works for me in SA-MP using SAAC, but with mta i can only use analog sticks and nothing else.

i just read that there is something like "SAAC 2", but i can't find download link (all are broken).

And do you really need SAAC to plug your PS2 controller into PC? I don't think so. Just get any drivers/whatever which makes your controller visible as any other controller in your OS.

Btw: Tell us your OS.

im using windows xp, i can bind the keys in mta but most wont work, etc triangle will work to enter cars but not helis, X will get heli off ground but wont move the cars like in ps2. works for some vehicles but most wont work.

i fixed it, turns out mta binded the same controls to different actions in the alternate key. e.g i have x for accelerate but mta put that has the alt for another thing which i think stuffed it up for me. either that or mta auto assigns joy pad keys you when select it in controls i dont know.
