Server lag issue with a HTTP server

I've noticed an issue: the server starts lagging when there are a lot of files in resource-cache/http-client-files. After the deletion and restart, the lag is gone for a while, till there are loads of resources in the cache again.

When a resource is started, its client files are copied into 'resource-cache/http-client-files'. Your server lag is probably down to one resource doing something naughty. Try stopping resources one by one and see if the lag goes away. Or use https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Resource:Performancebrowser
