Having problems installing MTA san andres.

When I install MTA I get this error after clicking 'Can't find GTA_sa.exe' When I click on the location of my gta_sa.exe on C:/Windows/program files(x86)/Rockstar games/Grand theft auto san andres.

So When I click open MTA and click the location of my gta_sa.exe i get a error saying 'Can't find GTA_sa.exe' and then If I click cancel I get the error showen in the image, if i click okay, I have to find the exe again.

Please could someone help me with this error, I would appreciate it.

What is the version of your GTA:SA? Our mod only works with a retail 1.0 US or EU version. If you have eg. 1.01 or 2.0, you need to downgrade it using Talidan's GTASA downgrader.

If this didn't do the trick - is your GTA:SA install clean and not modded?

Thank you for your answer, I installed the patched and its telling me the destination dictionary doesnt have any files to update; Guessing it is version 1.00 then!

Does your folder have to be clean of mods to download it, since Im sure I do have a few mods.

Some mods can be installed, some can't.

I will clear my san andreas folders of mods, thank you; and hopefully It will work.

I deleted mods I had and Im still getting this error message. Maybe can't it read my exe file? Isit possible to change it to rar, will that work?

Please double check that you are selecting the correct directory.

Otherwise, find gta_sa.exe in explorer, right click, select properties and upload a piccy of that.

I may be missing registry files, is there a way to restore them?
