Server Won't Start!

Question

Posted

So I'm trying to start a server. I've opened port 2003 (I've got a 2wire 2701HG-G), put an exception in the windows firewall for said port, and the port seems to be open, but every time I try to connect to my server it waits a few seconds then says "Connection timed out"

What am I doin wrong?

EDIT:

I just opened ports 22003, 22005, and 22126 as well as 2003, but I still get connection timed out when I try to quick connect!

if you are behind more than one NAT ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_ad ... ranslation ) there could be a problem. It also depends on your ISP. Have you successfully created any server (any game) before?
