custom binds

Can't you make custom binds?!

This is what happens when I try to bind "say /ss 70"

bind j "say /ss 70"

* Bound key 'j' 'down' to command '"say'

and when I press j its says "test" in the chatbox.

what the the problem?

How about:

bind j ss 70

In other words:

bind [key] ([state]) [command] ([arguments ...])

"say" is just one of the possible commands. Every command is possible to bind. (well, I think every command...)
