Shuterland Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Hi, I've installed the nightlybuild following every step here: http://code.google.com/p/multitheftauto ... htlyBuilds Installed latest version of everything, resources, game opens fine, but when I click map editor and it says "starting local server..." my game crashes and this is what I get: http://i44.tinypic.com/71kyg1.jpg Thanks.
Shuterland Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 Oh no... my game quits when I connect to any server.
MTA Team jhxp Posted May 22, 2009 MTA Team Posted May 22, 2009 Is your game modded in any way? If so, try reinstalling it/removing mods. Game also needs to be in 1.0 version (EU or US, not German/Australian).
Shuterland Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 Ok, I haven't any mods or so, I just reinstalled the whole MTA thing with the new version and it works now, only thing is that when I click on map editor It loads succesfully but I get a black screen. I already updated the acl.xml file. What could be problem now?
Gamesnert Posted May 22, 2009 Posted May 22, 2009 Are you sure you downloaded the resources? (LINK) And in the right folder? (\server\mods\deathmatch\resources)
Shuterland Posted May 23, 2009 Author Posted May 23, 2009 Thanks, I did a mistake with the folder. Now this is what I get on the map editor and it won't load: http://i41.tinypic.com/2lw9hjm.jpg Regards.
MTA Team jhxp Posted May 23, 2009 MTA Team Posted May 23, 2009 Clear these folders: MTA San Andreas\mods\deathmatch\resources MTA San Andreas\server\mods\deathmatch\resourcecache Make sure you're clearing right folders, so you won't actually clear the one which you shouldn't Then start the game again and see if the problem persists. If it does, just hit the Map Editor button again, and it should eventually 'download' all the data (unless it still stays on 0).
Nevermind Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Sorry for the bump, but I kind of have the same problem. I cleared both folders mentioned, but the download still stops at a random point between 5kb and 250kb of 1,17MB. I've tried reinstalling everything (including GTA) a few times, nothing seems to help. It also doesn't seem to be firewall or antivirus-related. Disabling everything doesn't help. Any clues?
