d3dx9_33.dll corrupted gta_sa.exe

I got d3dx9_33.dll and extracted it into the GTA directory because my MTA would not work. After that not working I removed it and now gta_sa.exe will not run. Please Help.

Edit: Reinstalling may not be an option, is there a way to patch it?

You should install the directx update from the microsoft website instead of indiviually getting the files, also try deleting/renaming the 'gta_sa.set' file in 'My Documents/GTA San Andreas User Files folder before trying anything else
