My MTA loads, and then crashes

Hello,

I want to check MTA out, because I heard some very good stories about it.

I downloaded the version on the following link(http://mtavc.com/deathmatch.html, then the button) a hour ago. And I was all excited and stuff like that, but it crashes...

When I start it up, it loads and stuff like that. But at the home screen, with the lines 'Quick connect' and stuff like that, it freezes.

I tried the http://development.mtasa.com/index.php? ... ash_screen solution, but it doesn't work.. My Operating System is Windows Vista Home Premium..

Problem solved, I changed my menu_options in coreconfig.xml to 248.
