wiedi
hey guys when i start my server all is good, i can connect and there is no problem but when i start the race mode, its good, and then it asks for a map, i added new maps, and i tried it with the standard maps you get when you download the installer for the server, i also tried downloading / and replacing the race.rar, in resources download section on your site, and i guess thats not the problem i know the files in the resource cache are just in cache so i clear the whole map everytime, i make restart of the server but when someone wants to connect he gets a download error (#9) and in my console it says this error Error: .../r/mods/deathmatch/resourcecache/race/race_server.lua:401: attempt to index global 'g_MapOptions' here is a picture : and it happends everytime someone connects i tried it with default maps and normal maps, there is nothing wrong with maps they all run good on other servers, maybe i m just doing something not good hope you can help kind regards niko Link to comment
Gamesnert
Download errors0: UNKNOWN_ERROR 1: INVALID_FILE_DESCRIPTORS 2: INVALID_MAX_FILE_DESCRIPTOR 3: INVALID_SELECT_RETURN 4: INVALID_INITIAL_MULTI_PERFORM 5: INVALID_MULTI_PERFORM_CODE 6: INVALID_MULTI_PERFORM_CODE_NEW_DOWNLOADS 7: UNEXPECTED_CURL_MESSAGE 8: UNABLE_TO_CONNECT 9: UNABLE_TO_DOWNLOAD_FILE 10: FAILED_TO_INITIALIZE_DOWNLOAD Unable to download file is that error. This might be wrong configuration of your server/router/firewall. Is HTTPdownload parameter in mtaserver.conf set to 1? Is that error critical? Since errors happen in each gamemode, but do they make playing harder? If so, the creator should look at it. I don't really think the community can help at that point. Link to comment

Gamesnert
ben trouwens wel nederlands komop help me met die :~ I don't know what the problem is... Is port 22005 forwarded? For as far as I know, the files will be send through the HTTP port. And this should also be the reason why it couldn't download it according to the error. Oh and please only type Dutch in PM's, there are more people experiencing this problem, and would like to know what you're saying too. But I'm indeed Dutch though. Link to comment
paul527
I get a similar problem with my MTA server. All default maps work just fine. Any custom resources never reach my clients (including me, if I don't install them manually into my MTA install). Ports & Firewall are all good, so I don't know what the problem is. I tried contacting some people over IRC, but they didn't know what to do either. I messed around all day with packet sizes too, with no avail. Link to comment
Gamesnert
The only thing I can still come up with is this... Download error 9: Error downloading requested files * I'm getting Download Error 9: Error downloading requested files whenever I connect to my server This error happens when the server you are trying to connect to is unable to provide you with a valid link. This results in a 404 (Not found) HTTP error and an error at your end. * If you are running the built-in server (httpserver is set to 1 and httpdownloadurl is empty), make sure that your HTTP server is accessible (you can try to access it by using a browser) for everyone. * If you have configured an external web server (httpdownloadurl is set to your custom URL), make sure that your HTTP is accessible and make sure you have read the Configuring an external web server guide. But I assume you already did that... =/ Link to comment
