As celebration of the GTA IV soon to be coming to PC. I would like to bring to the MTA community a suggestion.

I would like to bring the idea of a VIce City Classic Roleplay that will take place till the GTA IV release. This means everyone will play a made up character in the GTA Vice City world, and act like him, from Dons to thugs to pushers. The game VIce City is cheap and will be a nice little blast to the past to everyone for a short time before GTA IV is released. SO LETS GO BACK TO LOVE FIST! AND HIT THE 80's and the Miami streets.

I'd like to know if you'd take part in this before even thinking of a server. It may not be next gen!!! but you'll be able to bring yourself into this Vice city world, and who knows you may control the whole scene like scarface!!!

Any extra suggestions, support, etc?

The Back story

Vice City prospered during the 1920s with an increase in population and infrastructure but weakened after the collapse of the Florida land boom of the 1920s, the 1926 Vice City Hurricane and the Great Depression in the 1930s. When World War II began, Vice City, well-situated due to its location on the southern coast of Florida, played an important role in the battle against German submarines. The war helped to expand Vice City’s population; by 1940, 172,172 people lived in the city. After Fidel Castro rose to power in 1959, many Cubans sought refuge in Miami, further increasing the population.

1980 Crime was on the rise, Drugs were being heavily distributed and all the beautiful people of Vice City couldn’t care less. Party central was pushed up a notch by the small Italian mafia activity, trying to compete with the Cuban and Haitian thugs who were making money move right in there direction.

The Government just concentrated on looking better, and with all the hotshots in town, instead of busting them, using them to get into power was much easier. This came at a price, a moral price, the people of Vice City naive as they were didn’t realize the people who controlled their lives where criminals themselves.
