Guest
Is there a way I could do this? Bear in mind I have little scripting or coding abilities. Any help is much appreciated in converting Map Editor code into Vanilla Single player San Andreas. Thanks, Dren Link to comment

0 darkdreamingdan
Do you mean importing an MTA Race map into single player? I.e. so the objects exist? There is a tool to do this: http://gtam.cjb.hu/Projects/Converter.zip If you mean creating a Map Editor that is detached from MTA and part of the single player game, that's a long shot, and I doubt it's worth the effort Link to comment

0 Guest
Oh, and how do the .ipl files work? Where do I place them? Link to comment
0 darkdreamingdan
I believe you add your ipls into "GTA San Andreas\data\maps" You then have to modify the "GTA San Andreas\data\gta.dat" file, and add your IPL files to the .dat Link to comment
0 Guest
I can't convert the .map files: Can someone explain to me in detail how that converter works? Link to comment
0 darkdreamingdan
Looks like you didnt select a proper file or something. I can't say off of the top of my head. All i can suggest is that you use the real command line tools over at: viewtopic.php?f=64&t=15525 Link to comment
