DSM map editor

I am very impatient I couldn't wait for official MTA map editor, so I made my own map editor. You can download it from http://www.freewebtown.com/devann/DSM_map_editor.zip . I didn't make any screenshots, but it's really worth downloading and trying.

You'll be happy to know that the 'official' map editor is making very good progress now, it should be out sooner rather than later

Well, I can describe it and it would be easy to understand. In this map editor player isn't visible. And it looks like first-person view. There is a crosshair in the center of the screen. If you're looking at the near distance, crosshair is big. If you're looking at farther places, crosshair is smaller. There's a small menu. And when you put objects to the map, object follows the crosshair. Oh, and there's one thing that may look disadvantage for some people - you can only put objects to the map and not the cars.

have just given map editor a go and must say it is very good

one problem though i cant seem to find the maps so as to load them into another resource (freeroam , deatmatch , etc. )

i saw in the txt file u said look in map editor resource but i cant seem to find anything any help would be appreciated

Maybe you looked at resource in the server folder. You have to look in resources that were downloaded from server.

Is this editor for server or is it client side, I want to edit my maps on my server, So i need it to be server side :)

I just wanted to know if this editor you made is client side or server side.
