MTA:VC Invalid Executable and MORE

ok, here's the deal ...

first off, i DID BUY the game ... i had a cracked one, but since the cracked one won't work with MTA 0.5 i bought the game 2 weeks ago >> its a dvd-version of the game (european/german) so i guess that its version state is 1.1, but i cannot confirm that, as this stupid game won't let me read out which version it actually is! the readme, nor the manual, dvd-inlay or the box say anythig about it ...

and i've tried everything suggested on this AND other forums to get this thinggie to work >> i reinstalled it about 10~12 times >> tried to install with the cracked version and play with the original dvd >> tried making an ISO and playing from a virtual drive and so forth >> won't work as the gta-vc exe on the cracked version (aswell as on the original-release cd) is 4008kb and patched to 1.1 is 4112kb size and the original on the dvd i bought is 6328kb and they don't match ...

i tried patching to gta-vc 1.1 european and us, but he won't accept the patch, saying that i got an "unknown version" >> when i try to patch it with the gta-vc.exe_patch he says the same: "unknown version" ... i have a german/austrian version ... not sure which one exactly nor if there is a "special" austrian (not australian) one, as we mostly get the same cut-crap from over there >> thanks to their and our stupid politicans (coz of the same language and blah-blah)

anyway, anything i try says "unknown version" so far >> MTA 0.5 lets me connect to the games, no trouble there, even chatting with people on the server works >> but wether i switch to vc version 1.0 or 1.1 MTA gives me a "fatal error" saying first "Failure detecting version of vice city. aborting ..." and secondly again "invalid executable. please ensure that you have the correct executable installed." >> i also tried downloading the us-version of gta-vc 1.0 and 1.1, but can't find them and have also the strong feeling, that they won't match with my dvd-version anyway ...

i had the same problem 1 month ago when i bought gta3 to gamble online, but the gta3 problem was easily resolved by just downgrading the executable with the patch you provided from dunno 2.0 to 1.0 or 1.1 to 1.0 ... can remember it correctly, but nevertheless gta3 is working in mp-mode but vc keeps bitching around ... now i'd like to know if there is any way to resolve this thing or any thread that i actually missed ... as i am getting really pissed about this ... so pleaze if anybody had the same problem let me know how to fic it if you do

AND PLEAZE: don't blame/flame/shout at me to go get the ORIGINAL as i have it, if i find time i will make screens of every trouble-making error that this proggie gives me AND my original copy ...
