Start up crash

Hi, I have been using MTA Race 1.1.1 for quite a while now (I like being able to edit the maps).

The problem is when the DM came out, It installed it over the top of Race so I uninstalled them both and installed race 1.1.1 again.Now what happens is, it loads the Rockstar and Rockstar North and once it has reached a certain point in the Intro Credits it crashes.

Every time I reinstall it the point at which it crashes changes.

Also when I try to skip any of it it crashes too.

UPDATE: I needed a file from DM so I installed DM again then put Race back on.

Now it only displays the splash screen, but when I load SP it does the same as above.

I am just about to reinstall GTA: SA.

UPDATE 2: I have appeared to of lost my DVD so I will be accsepting any help that does not involve reinstalling GTA.

I am still looking anyway.

UPDATE 3: I have still not found it but have found out it works on SA-MP which doesn't show the Rockstar bits and Intro Credits.

I am checking that my files are all intact with no modifcations from someone else.

UPDATE 4: It appears that some mods had been installed so I have restored the edited files and now SP works.

I will try reinstalling MTA Race and hopfully it will work.

UPDATE 5: It all works now, it turned out I selected the wrong GTA SA Folder.
