Guest Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 Hey guys, not sure if this has been addressed before, sorry if wrong forum. I am having some problems trying to run SA. With a clean 1.0 install, I get an MS error report come up right after running the exe (used to work fine in the past) but when I install the 1.01 Euro patch the game works perfectly fine. Since MTA only works on 1.0 this is a problem and I would prefer not formatting to play it. Now since 1.01 fixes this instacrash there must be something in the patch that fixes some compatibility problem with windows, does anyone have any ideas of what this fix is and how to fix it without the patch? Maybe a windows update conflict? My user name is one word just letters no spaces no symbols etc, I deleted san andreas user files from my documents, tried installing 1.01 then using downgrader but still crashes, tried no-cd cracks and images with the same result. I think I remember having this problem in the past and I'm sure I didn't format to fix it. allah-cool Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 I had the same problem and I fixed it by using a no CD crack and no patch. The no CD crack gets straight past the 1.01 and 1.0 problem and straight into the game. Save the No CD crack files in the GTA San Andreas folder after having uninstalled the San Andreas that u installed with the CD. Then Run both games and they should work fine. They key is the No CD Crack. Link to comment
