Guest Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Hello, I've got the same problem. Whenever I start MTA, the splash screen appears, then disappears and then I get the following error message: "Network module could not be located" System Specs: MTA:SA Developer Preview 1 Windows Vista Home Premium Any help would be greatly appreciated mvol
MTA Team jhxp Posted January 6, 2008 MTA Team Posted January 6, 2008 If I remember correctly this was caused by some .dll file required by MTASA missing in your system, it's just that the error message is dodgy I recall having this when I installed MTASA for the first time on my freshly installed Vista. I'll post when I'll have more info. One of the [VCP] leaders // honorary member of the =PCP= gang. Guest Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Ok, I've solved my problem now. There was a file called "net.dll" in my GTA:SA directory that was not created by the MTA installer. I think it was a leftover from my old SA MP installation. I haven now overwritten this file with the "net.dll" from the GTA:SA/mta directory, and now everything works fine. mvol
