finding server on list

i have 3 computers using wireless internet off of a wireless router and all computers have the same ip address. I run the server on one of the computers and get on another computer and i look for the server on the server list and yet its not there then i try by typing in the ip and port and still nothing. is it a problem since all 3 computers have the same ip and u cant hook up to a server with the same ip???

I can connect to a server within my LAN just fine; it's just not on the server list. You have to set the IP to the server box's network IP, not your actual internet IP. And make sure you have the correct port.

Example:

IP: 192.168.1.102

Port: 2003

Instead of:

IP: 68.235.236.125

Port: 2003

log in on the pc you run the server from and go to start --> run and type in cmd

Now type in ipconfig and u will get your local ipadress

i have my server running

i try to connect as an admin on my other computer

i have the correct port but it says connection timed out

what do i do

did you turn on admin in the server config? read the documentation, the wiki or search for the forum for details

why cant you just tell me excatly what to do
