The axes?

Hi! I hope you can help, cos i got a little problem! This is what the wiki says:

You can manipulate these axes with the following keys:

* Left and Right keys transform positively and negatively along the X axis

* Up and Down keys transform positively and negatively along the Y axis

* Home and End keys transform positively and negatively along the Z axis

For the rest of the guide, I’ll be calling these controls the Axes controls. When I refer to transform an object, I mean in the mathematical sense.

But when i want to use the rotate tools, the thing i have selected doesnt rotate or anything.

Please help me!
