Hello.

 

I'm experiencing a very strange issue with MTA 1.6 that I cannot reproduce consistently, but it affects multiple players.

 

Problem:

 

- engineLoadTXD() randomly returns false for some valid TXD files.

- engineLoadDFF() also fails for some models.

- The affected peds become completely white.

- Some replaced vehicles load as the original GTA model or fail to load.

 

Important information:

 

- The TXD/DFF files are known to be valid.

- The same files work correctly on other MTA servers.

- The issue also happens on a clean local server.

- Several new players experience exactly the same problem.

- Sometimes the same player joins and everything is fine, then reconnects and the same models become white.

- Restarting the resource or reconnecting does not consistently fix it.

 

Debug output:

 

Error loading TXD @ engineLoadTXD

Error loading DFF @ engineLoadDFF

Bad usage @ engineReplaceModel

 

The server console also prints:

 

WARNING: File '445.dff' contains errors.

WARNING: File '522.txd' contains errors.

WARNING: File '522.dff' contains errors.

 

However, these warnings have existed for months and previously everything worked correctly. The problem started suddenly without major changes.

 

Environment:

 

Server version:

1.6 (tested on multiple builds including 22388 and 24133)

 

Client:

Latest 1.6 builds

 

Resources:

Around 50 vehicle replacements and several ped replacements.

 

Question:

 

Is there any known engine limitation, streaming issue, cache issue, or regression in recent MTA builds that could cause engineLoadTXD() or engineLoadDFF() to randomly fail for valid files?
