MTA integrity violation error on startup

Question

Hi everyone,

I’m having a problem when trying to launch MTA: San Andreas. As soon as I click to start the game, my screen freezes and I get this error:

“MTA: San Andreas has been terminated due to an integrity violation. Make sure that no external program is modifying the game. Note that some unreliable AV's (such as Bitdefender) are known to interfere in a way that can lead to this problem.”

I’m not using any cheats or mods, and this issue started suddenly.

What I’ve tried so far:

  • Restarting my PC
  • Reinstalling MTA
  • Closing all background programs

My system:

  • Windows 10
  • (you can add your CPU/GPU here if you want)

Does anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!
