In the past few weeks I’ve been struggling with a very strange issue that I’ve never seen before, and I couldn’t find any solution to it anywhere.
The problem in short:
While playing on an MTA server, I often get banned by the Anticheat. After a lot of investigation, we figured out that randomly, when I trigger a server event from the client side, either the event name or some of the function arguments get one character replaced. Because of this, the Anticheat detects it and bans me. (screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/QHKsbQR) Most of the time it’s always the same event where the exact same character gets changed.
Things I’ve already tried (without success):
Swapping out the RAM
Removing every program that could inject into MTA (e.g. Avast)
Reinstalling MTA and GTA:SA
Updating / downgrading drivers
Reinstalling Windows
This issue only happens to me, no one else on the server has ever experienced it, so I’m sure it’s not a server-side problem.
If anyone has encountered something similar, or has any idea what could cause this, I’d really appreciate your help.
