fps limit is ruining the entire racing community

Hey everyone,

I wanted to bring up something that’s been bothering a lot of us in the racing scene lately — the FPS limit command and how it’s being abused.

Basically, players are using FPS limiting to mess with the game physics in ways that give them an edge, especially in certain parts of tracks like loops, jumps, and wallrides. It’s super noticeable in time trials and competitive runs. Lowering FPS at just the right moment can make you stick to surfaces better or get through parts of the track faster, which obviously isn't how the game is meant to work.

This is basically the same trick that used to be done with old tools like FRAPS. People used it to drop frames intentionally and gain an advantage — and back then, it was known and often banned for exactly this reason. Now the same thing can be done using in-game commands, and it’s becoming a big problem.

The worst part is that it makes leaderboard times questionable. You never really know if someone hit a great line or just gamed the physics with a frame drop. It kills the idea of fair racing and makes it hard for legit players to compete.

I am hoping to get some clarity on how such commands can be even useful in game for any kind game mode
