Guest
I use my computer with a limited account (as oppose to the Administrator account) to be more secure. GTA:SA runs alright as a limited user, as do all of my other apps, but for some reason I can't get MTA:SA to work. When I start MTA:SA I get a directory selection dialog for the GTA:SA directory, then the MTA:SA directory, then GTA:SA starts up and crashes with an error message: (Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library)(X) Runtime Error! Program: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\gta_sa.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. (OK) Has anyone come up with a solution other than running it under the Administrator account or RunAs... Administrator account.
