- Do you have the VC patch installed, also have you set VC to 1.1 on MTA, you can do that by going to the options tab on the MTA client.

- Also close any other programs/applications which are running at the same time as MTA. (MSN, Anti-virus etc.)

- Play VC in single player for a min or two before installing a fresh installation of MTA. (Make sure you have removed any mods if you downloaded any)
