Installation Error

I've been working on this for several days trying to figure out what is wrong, but no luck so far.

When i install MTA, i get an error that says:

Runtime error '429'

Active X component can't create object.

Normaly, i wouldn't have a problem with this, just a small error, except i think it is the reason the game isn't working for me.

When i join a server, and hit start game, everything works fine.

But then when it finishes loading, it pops up with a MOTD screen, which is just a lot of random things, and then nothing happens.

So when i hit a button, a windows error report thing comes up and tells me there was a problem, and i hit don't send.

The error report says

gta-vc.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconveniance.

I'm not sure if it says this to everyone, but when i open MTA for the first time right after isntalling it, it says that it could not find the version, and that the default version is 1.0.

If anyone could please help me, i would greatly appreciate it.

the only thing i can say is try reinstalling MTA Client and GTA VC

Turns out the whole problem was some mod i installed a long time ago and forgot about was messin' me up

Could also be the solution about " MTA dosnt support any modifications " ;P
