MTA SanAndreas suggestions

The first time i've played whit MTA was on gta3 and i was very disappointed

seeing no people around in the streets, no pedestrians!

So I've started looking in the several posts to find out what was the

problem to get pedestrians in the multiplayer..

apparently the problem is the speed of connection, increasing the number

of informations you send gets the gameplay very slow..but...

i think all people realized that the pedestrians and the cars that you see in

single player are only around you and not in all the city ..and not so many...

whit MTA VC i've played against more than 20 people, so..a lot of informations!

But the gameplay was still really precise.

My questions are:

1 - is it possible to create a version of MTA SanAndreas with a maximum

of 4 people connected but whit pedestrians and cars?

2 - is it possible to make visible the same cars and pedestrians for

all the 4 computers whit the same x,y,z positions sent by the server?

Lets imagine this: in the first computer(server) the player is walking

and there are pedestrians around him ..but the players of the other 3

PCs are not in the same place so the peds around them are not the same,

and are generated by their own computers.

The PC1(server) doesn't need to send the positions of peds.

Also the other 3 PCs aren't sending positions of peds...so the positions of

peds will be sent by each computer only if the visible area of a player is

starting colliding whit the visible area of the other player, only in that case

informations will be sent.

Its somthing that I've implemented in the past (with blue), but I haven't had time to transfer it over to Blue-SA. The way you suggest is actally exactly how I did it. I never got it to a point where it was useable, but that was certainly the basis we were working on. I'm sure most people would agree that other vehicles and peds are nice to have, but there are other things that are more important.

I am really proud that you had the same idea of me ,resolving that,eAi.

I've understood that this implementation is secondary ...

anyway, the way I imagine MTA SA to be , is not much different from the

single player mode (like vehicles and peds appearing randomly around us)

with the difference that the people connected can assume control of any

peds (not only the cast characters) ,but the rest remains the same.So

if I want a vehicle I'll steal one on the street as in the SPgame,also for

weapons I'll have to go to AmmuNation or stealing it from dead people or policeman etc..

Maybe this big choice of characters could get a very big start menu..

or is really difficult to organize this in game(onestly I don't know, i'am

trying to study how the main.scm works etc... but I'am still at the beginning)

I think this mix between CPU and Player controls

could be very intresting and giving us the illusion of a real populated city!

Am I going too far?
