I think you should use "onElementClicked" or you can use "onClientCursorMove" instead of it. Then you should use :

getElementType
setElementData -- set a data that contain the player as value
getElementType -- get the saved player who got clicked or pointed.
createObject
attachElements -- it's better than save the player's positions.
