Umm can someone please help me with some server problems??

Hi, I am getting two server problems and I do not know how to fix them because I am new at making a server... Here are the problems:

ERROR: Unable to bind to the socket. Check that no other instances of MTAServer.exe are running and try again.

Could not start admin server.

Unable to bind the local RCON socket. (it times out trying to conect to admin panel thing also)

Any help would be greatful...

(note: i already have the server patch)

Ok, well, my firewall is deinfitely turned off, and I get the same think?

ok check your processes in Control + Alt + Delete Make sure there isnt a process called MTAServer.exe if there is close it and if that doesnt work just change your ports around in the Server Config.exe located in the MTA folder.....that should do it

also if you have problems opening Server Config go to your MTA folder in program files and delete the file called mtaserver.conf then try opening Server config..... that should do it

Ty, Ty. Server works, admin enabled. Now, what I don't understand, is how come MTA MA isn't wrking? I loaded a script, and stuff like slap works and all, but no commands such as !cash or anything such as does not. Also, how do i fix this? It says this in mIRC window = invalid parameters : $did (line 1656, mta.mrc) . Does that mean this is bogus, and what tweaking must I do to it? Also, when I update to 3.24, it says something about the html update file not being right or something?

ok you need to type this in mIRC

//load -rs $+(",$$sfile(*.mrc,Select your mta.mrc,Load),")

but you need to get to Aerons scripts first

get both MTAMA

and MTAMA:GRS

load them both up

to get !cash and all that you need to have an RPG script there is a series of them under there try the Cops & Robbers.. also i believe its in the MTAMA:GRS under the Advanced Admin go to Client Admins Wizard Add Admin and add your name on there so your admin
