How much will 1 person need in upload terms?

OK,

I want to make my own server,

2Mb, dont no what upload is yet, just got this morning, changes should take place within 48hr.

So I was wondering, how many Kb/sec will just one person need on a server?

For example: 1 Person will need 40Kb/sec upload for a good ping.. etc

It depends how many players r playing, for example when 20 i need ~14kB/s download, than server need ~280kB/s upload but thats about 2200kbits. Probably u hav an adsl connection so the upstream is lower than your downstream, imo its about 300-400kb it will handle 6-8 players ... but thats random. My friends 512/512 handle max. 8p, but same number can even do a 2048/384 ! Just run mtaserver.exe and invite some people.
