Guest Posted July 29, 2005 Share Posted July 29, 2005 sometimes it does that when you have extra mta files laying around... like i uninstalled it and i still had those MTA files in the vice city file, so i deleted those and all the other mta files on my computer (even the C:\Program Files\MTA file just cause i was experimenting) and then i went back to the mtavc.com site and downloaded the bitorrent and so on and so on and i downloaded it for vice city and it worked for me......also check to make sure you havnt modded and data files in vice city..... it helped for my prob so mabye it will on yours too.
