    Sorry I forgot to mention that i'm running a Windows 10 Enterprise image through VirtualBox. I have managed to fix the problem - Turns out I had done everything correctly and rebooting the VM wasn't enough. I rebooted VirtualBox and loaded into the VM, everything was fine and working. Thanks for your help, you can mark this as closed.

    Hello! I am trying to run MTA on a Virtual Machine mounted on a Mac Platform. Each time I go to run MTA I keep getting a serial error - I have followed the steps from start to finish and still no luck. Can you please advise? Thanks, Peach
