no i know the server will run fine and i have gotten it to work i just dont want to have to type the same commands each time i start it, which is why i want to create the settings.xml. i know the server will run fine without it. but i have found no instructions on how to use it cause i want to run commands on start up, so i dont have to type them in every time. i know a decent amount of xml just not how to format the commands in that file, so mta will run them

hmm are the machines on the same subnet? They have to be for most lan games to work. meaning that they should have the same first 3 parts of the ip address. ex: 192.168.100.??? then replace the question marks with what ever you want. They should also be hooked up to the type of connection, wired or wireless. Also you may have a highly secured router, so forward the ports your server uses to the client. Let me know if anything changes

okay im new at mta servers, but im trying to figure out how to create a settings.xml file. all i want it to do is, start a freeroam game, and start a few resources. can anyone help pls? Thx
