  1. For me, the problem was with the compatibility mode for the shortcut to MTA:DM on my desktop. I think the shortcut and the actual executable would be the same, but I'm not sure, you might check the shortcut.
  2. Aha! Thank you, Buffalo! I did not set compatibility mode, but compatibility mode was enabled and set to Windows 98/ Windows ME on gta_sa.exe after a fresh install of San Andreas! Disabling compatibility mode fixed the problem and I am now able to join servers on MTA:DM! Also, thanks to scarface1994 and robhol. robhol, Thanks for the info on that app! I'll be trying that if I have any more problems.
  3. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo 3.16 GHz Processor
  4. I don't know how it would be driver related, since Single Player GTA:SA works just fine.
  5. Yes, I get a crash-to-the-desktop after attempting to join all servers.
  6. Yes I have. The known issues do not address this specific issue. Most of the crash/halt problems addressed in the known issues/faq are crashes/halts immediately after the splash screen. My crash is happening well past the splash screen, and instead, all the way into the game, after joining a server. There is a "crash on connect" error in the faq for windows vista, but I do not have, and never will have, windows vista.
  7. Hello. I've been messing with this for about three hours now, trying to get MTA DM to work. I'm having a problem where the menu loads just fine, I can use the server browser just fine, but when I double click on a server, this happens: 1. The game goes to the loading screen (the one where there is a GTA:SA character in the background, with the white loading bar.) 2. The loading bar loads all the way 3. The loading screen fades to black 4. In the black screen, I breifly see the city name, "Ganton" at the bottom. 5. The game flickers then crashes to the desktop. No errors whatsoever. I have tried: 1. Reinstalling MTA:DM 2. Re-downloading and reinstalling MTA:DM 3. Un-installing then installing GTA:SA, then un-installing and re-installing MTA:DM Notes: I'm using the latest version (MTA:SA DM Alpha Build DP2.1) GTA:SA Single player works flawlessly. Video Card Drivers are up to date. Using WinXP Pro SP2 GTA:SA is legit DVD version, patched to 1.00 EU I require some assistance to get MTA:DM working so I can get online and shoot some of you foo's! Thanks in advance for the help!
