I downloaded that, still has the same problem

My friend told me to download this, i did so but i have never actually been able to play the game, I can start the game and get into the server list, i can join a server but shortly after that it will lock up on the main title screen with the box displaying "game Loading..", I have freshly installed Gta san andreas and downgraded it to the required version, i have not anywhere found a cure for this.
