  1. Just did that and it fixed an issue I had with custom speed meters halting my game for a sec each time they loaded, but my freezing issue is still around
  2. Tried full screen, no luck. EDIT: It seems to occur most often when i teleport, spawn or respawn. But also happens at random while driving or shooting...etc.
  3. Updated everything and I have a frozen client open as I type this. I always run the game in windowed mode if that matters.

  5. My game randomly freezes. It doesn't crash or anything, the game just locks up and the sound that was being played at the moment keeps looping, and not while I'm doing anything specific. This happens on some servers more than others; for example heavily scripted RP servers crash much more often than simple race servers. I have no troubles with other games; no TDR problems or anything. I already tried turning asynchronous loading on, but no luck. Please help, thank you.
  6. XP mode doesn't resolve any of the crashes for me in MTA or GTA only Win98 does.
  7. Resolve it please. The game is unplayable for me because of all these GTA related crashes under Vista, which only get fixed using compatibility mode, which doesn't work with MTA due to an issue with the Microsoft DirectX April 2006 SDK Redistributable DLL file (d3dx9_30.dll)! Thanks .
  8. It's fully working with my game mode And i was just using pickups as an example.
  9. Hi, lately (since this morning) I've been working on an anti cheat script, so far I've managed to make a fully working anti HP Cheat bit. But I'm coming across a giant obstacle in flexibility. For someone to take my anti cheat resource and put it on their server, they would have to modify their scripts so that my script wouldn't be banning people after they take health or armor pickups or whatever. I'm just requesting more events to be added to the game. An event that is triggered when the "setPlayerArmor" function is called, another one when the "setElementHealth" function is called, and events for the money functions. Thanks .
  10. ok so completely scratch what i said before, apparently whenever i fill in my .map file with ANYTHING it gives me the same message again.
  11. actually no i didn't have any typos, it had some weird thing to do with notepad++ since every time i opened the .map file I'd switch to XML, i created a new one without switching languages and pasted everything from the old one into it and now it works. EDIT: although right now i can't use the spawn manager's create spawn points function, thoughts?
  12. whenever i try to start up a map using the map manager from the console i get this error, > Starting ls-hl > Failed to start resource item losSantos.map in ls-hl > start: Failed to start resource 'ls-hl' > ERROR: mapmanager: map resource could not be started. the map and meta are exactly like the ones on the wiki! any ideas?
