well the problem im having is that. whenever I go into the map editor through the main menu in MTA it says "Connecting to local server timed out. See console for details." but in the console i see no error messages or anything. the same thing happens when i click host game. but i can join other peoples servers and play just fine. also whenever i try to run a local server using the MTA server.exe it runs just fine. but when i go into MTA and click connect, it locks up my computer and the only way to unlock it is to reboot. its getting really frustrating because ive searched all over the web and also in these forums but i haven't seen anyone answer this problem yet. also im directly connected to my modem and not behind a router. so its not a port forwarding problem
