Yeah im running it on windows. Not Lenux. Any ideas?

Well it seems that all the files are in place but im still getting the exact same error messages. I've uninstalled/reinstalled mta and retried the whole process a few times but it keeps doing the same thing. If anyone can help me figure this out I'd be willing to sent a "thank you" via paypal.

I figured that. Why the hell can't it find it? It's in the directory its looking in.

So for the past week I have been hell bent on trying to set up a RP server on my LAN connection to basically tear it apart and learn about it (I learn backwards). I am using released gamemode files and I started with Basic RP, then moved on to Paradise. Got them up and going, no problem. Now I am trying to get the Shodown gamemode up and going and it's starting to give me a brain tumor. As far as I can tell i've done the basics right (configuring the settlings.xml, filling in the MySQL connections ect) but it won't connect to the local host, hell, it can't find mta_mysql.so. Alright, thanks for the replies but I figured it all out. Now I need to figure out how to install Shodown roleplay. I started off with Basic RP and It just wasn't enough. Same goes for paradise it seems. Hopefully the Shodown installation won't give me a brain tumor.

I've gone back and reworked everything step by step. Putting in all the resources, editing the settings.xml, ect. ect. but I just can't get it to work. If anyone has previously set up a paradise roleplay server for local use can you be so kind as to give me a quick step by step? I've read just about every thread on the forums about this and I just can't get the damn thing to go. Thanks

***UPDATE*** alright i've got the files showing up on my database on phpmyadmin and the server no long crashes but when I connect to the server all I get is a black screen. I can access the f11 map and that's about it. If someone could give me some feedback on what I am doing wrong it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hey guys, i've been cruising around the forums for any kind of help with setting up the paradise roleplay server. I know where to place the resources and all the things like that the only major problem is the damn Mysql and everything that goes along with it. I've tried to avoid it at all costs but it won't let me register or log into the server. If someone could please help me out with the mysql part of the installation I would really appreciate it because im slowly starting to go insane. Thanks for any help guys.
