Just wondering if anyone has the same problem, but when I start MTA from steam it lags to the point where I can barely play. When I do not launch it from steam I get a solid 60 fps. I was just wondering if there is a way to get it to stop lagging so I could chat with friends, etc. Thanks!

I found out the problem, I downloaded a mod (SAPD:FR), and the new version conflicts MTA, so I reinstalled my GTA and it works fine, thank you for the responses!

I also checked to see if my singleplayer and SAMP work and they both work fine, its just MTA

So when I open MTA, it goes to load screen and opens the window into the resolution I have, then I get black screen and it crashes...
