i cant change the anything on my server like server name ect. do i edit it in editor.conf file because thats were im editing it but nothing changes when i click on mta server.exe

i have tried running mta server.exe and tried it in mta main menu but it fails to even pick it up on the other computer my computer is on IP address 192.168.1.3 the other pc IP address is 192.168.1.2

i can not get it to work, i did as you said but i cant get the server to pop up in the lan tab on one of the computers and when i try to do quick connect it just says connection timed out please help me with this

can i play this on lan with only 2 computers connected through ethernet cable
