Hey guys,
I've been on my Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit for a while now and haven't played GTA since I first upgraded to it.
The problem I am having is every time - without fail - this message is shown:
I have checked other topics (including the initial topic) and tried everything. This included:
Deleting the settings file
"Deleting" the D3D9.dll file (it wasn't there)
Updating my DirectX (was already at the newest)
Un-installing MTA, then reinstalling with admin privileges
Installing the patch with admin privileges
Setting the GTA San Andreas folder to allow complete modification and "run as administrator" for both gta_sa.exe and MTA.
Setting compatibility mode to Windows XP (for both MTA and GTA)
Converted the gta_sa.exe to v1.0
