The screen turns black for like a second when i click a server then mtasa crashes without any error or anything? What could be the issue? Even a clean install of gtasa doesnt fix this.. And its also like this for singleplayer too. It will be completely loaded all the way then all of a sudden it crashes before i can even see a thing. No error message or anything.. I cant run the mtadiag either. i get a libeay32.dll is missing error.. Heres a regular dxdiag though.. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 4/8/2013, 21:29:55 Machine name: JUSTIN-PC Operating System: Windows 8 Pro 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (9200.win8_gdr.130108-1504) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: MSI System Model: MS-7693 BIOS: BIOS Date: 10/31/12 12:54:09 Ver: 04.06.04 Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.8GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Available OS Memory: 4082MB RAM Page File: 2328MB used, 5337MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.02.9200.16384 64bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: The file aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx64.dll,aticfx32,aticfx32,aticfx32,atiumd64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atidxx64.dll,atiumdag,atidxx32,atidxx32,atiumdva,atiumd6a.cap,atitmm64.dll is not digitally signed, which means that it has not been tested by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL). My friends MTA lags a lot now, might be the drivers?
blurryshadow1 replied to blurryshadow1's question in Client
Not sure how we can recreate them, i just know he was getting some errors saying direct x then some other errors that i cant remember i think it said something about the processor/integrated gpu and oh the error he has when he tries running mtadiag was "missing libcurl.dll" or something.. -
My friend needs help with his laptop, for some reasons its gotten really laggy now and now hes getting all these weird errors that im not sure how to fix. Maybe it has something to do with the drivers? Dxdiag (The mtadiag thing wasnt working, their was some error saying some .dll was missing. So we just got the info normally) ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 4/5/2013, 00:33:24 Machine name: KRISTEN-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130104-1431) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Dell Inc. Skype crashing on dual monitor setup with MTA running?
blurryshadow1 replied to blurryshadow1's question in Client
Hmm i removed some files that had to do with ENB Series and Alci's SAAT GUI FrontEnd and updated to the latest version of skype and it seemed to have stopped crashing. Though skype still crashes sometimes and i actually noticed just now that sometimes when i try to do work on the other monitor while i have mta running on my main one, the programs on the secondary monitor may become unresponsive and some things will crash (usually my internet browser).. Ill post an update if it starts to crash like it did when i posted this thread. And yeah, i noticed the pastebin link wasnt working but when i went to try and go fix it yesterday the site was down. -
I want to have Skype open on my second monitor while i play but skype keeps crashing everytime i have MTA running on the other monitor. Skype will just close, no error or anything. And if i already have MTA running on one monitor its impossible to even login to Skype because it will just close right away. Skype only seems to work when i dont have MTA running.. I know this isnt really much of a question relating to MTA, but i figured maybe this had to do something with the MTA Client because i only noticed skype crashing with MTA running.. Do you think its because my main monitor is DVI, and my secondary monitor is VGA? DXDIAG: http://pastebin.com/9ArBDcBc

No sound and lower fps when crossfiring 2 AMD Radeon 6670s?
blurryshadow1 replied to blurryshadow1's question in Client
Well.. If im going to end up disabling crossfire for gta/mta i guess i dont need to worry about my sound issue anymore because the sound comes back if i have crossfire disabled.. -
No sound and lower fps when crossfiring 2 AMD Radeon 6670s?
blurryshadow1 replied to blurryshadow1's question in Client
Nope sound in gtasa singleplayer doesnt work either.. And my fps is still worse in gtasa and mta. Ive been looking this up and i think it may be because the gta games arent optimized properly for crossfire.. Oh and i noticed that my sound on gtasa singleplayer works (like at the menus) for a little bit then it just cuts off -

No sound and lower fps when crossfiring 2 AMD Radeon 6670s?
blurryshadow1 posted a question in Client
Okay, so i just recently have installed two 6670s into my system. (1. AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR3, 2. AMD Radeon HD 6670 1GB DDR5) But whenever i play mta, i get no sound from gta itself. Only the mta sound works.. And ive noticed i get a bit lower fps when crossfiring... Its also like this for gta4 (Except theres actually sound on there..) And on Skyrim, i actually get a boost in fps and it works great . I dont know whats going on with gta.. Dxdiag: http://pastebin.com/vU413C5P edit: nvm about the sound issue, i discovered that i actually had an another audio output that the games sound went through disabled. I just enabled it and the sound works again. -
It would be so great if a new mta would come out for gta v.. Me and my best friend played mtasa (and gtasa) as young teenagers (we still do but we are in our late teens now) and became best friends because of it. I bet it would be a nice feeling to be playing a new and evolved mta as an adult with my best friend all over again. (if a new mta were to come out, it would probably come out years later when my friend and i are much older than we are right now lol)

How do i use Mysql or Sqlite? for a login/register script?
blurryshadow1 replied to blurryshadow1's topic in Scripting
It shouldn't. Not really a programmer rule, but if its possible, it would have been specified that it would be possible in a users manual. The wiki and/or functions telling on how to use the account system should specify the warning. Otherwise, if your HD can handle it, you can have thousands of accounts. Because you didn't look at the tutorial i had shown youBecause you didn't look at Lua like i had told you to (on youtube for example, youtube has tutorials for nearly anything) Because it seems you do not want to learn? i do want to learn, but that link you gave me for mysql is still really confusing for me, i dont know whats going on there... and, i tried looking up tutorials on youtube on how to script for mtasa but the videos i saw were german.. -.-.. i even tried just looking up .lua tutorials but that doesnt help either.. i also tried looking at the scripting introduction on the mtasa wiki but that didnt help... i was understanding it for a bit at the beginning but then all of a sudden i get loaded with all these different scipting codes and i have no clue on whats going on... Theres like no proper tutorial ive seen that teaches absolute beginners like me how to script.. And you know, youtube is where i learn everything but .lua scripting is just something i cant find simple easy to understand videos of.. If only there was a special tool to help people like me, you know like that one software called gamemaker which simplifies things for people who wanna make some games. -
