  1. That will not work... And now you need a costum save system for the kills. Also: https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/Slothman/Zombies Chek it out for more usefull functions
  2. Use "source" function equi ( ) local p = getPedStat ( source, 75 ) setPedStat ( source, 75, p + 500 ) end addEventHandler("onPlayerJoin", root, equi)

    Question

Please, show us the guidxCreateWindow function, also Say to us what you want to make I gues popping a image up?
  4. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/CreateWater
  5. Rofl, you are still trying to make a multi gamemode without succes. You should try to debug it
  6. You still don't see the bug? " addEventHandler( "onMarkerHit", " isn't attached on something, also see my edited code, that one will work
  7. You need to make a costum race, For F*ck Sake don't start a project without knowing what to do.
  8. Use fetchRemote. I'm recomminding to use it CLIENT-side (so you need a webserver on your server like xampp) where players can download the mods off via the client and then cache it with fileWrite, fileOpen, fileCreate. For example(just quick example): function startCarDownload() fetchRemote ( "http://localhost:1234/cars/derp.dff", myCallback, "", false ) end addCommandHandler ( "rem", startCarDownload ) function myCallback( responseData, errno ) if errno == 0 then outputChatBox ( "it works" ) local newFile = fileCreate("derp.dff") if (newFile) then fileWrite(newFile, responseData) fileClose(newFile) end loadMod() end end function loadMod() dff = engineLoadDFF ( "derp.dff", 587 ) engineReplaceModel ( dff, 587 ) end
  9. Connect it on the server side with the mysql server of the website and then excecute everything with dbExec.
  10. 6ArHxiMr'3a[Z]eF, your code is wrong, and please stop typing in that stupid bold text, it's annoying. I added some explanation in the script, you still need to edit some stuff. local chekName = "staff" -- a variable( this variable is for the team chekker) local marker = createMarker ( x, y, z, "cylinder", size, 255, 0, 0, 255 ) --Creating a marker here, still need to fill in the x,y,z and the size, after that, you need to change the alpha if the size is good and position (changing [size, 255, 0, 0, 255] to [size, 255, 0, 0, 0] --Adding a event handler on the marker to a function. addEventHandler( "onMarkerHit", marker, function ( player ) -- the argument from "onMarkerHit" (the hit element) if getElementType(player) == "player" then local pTeam = getPlayerTeam ( player ) -- this will get the players team if pTeam then -- chek if the player is in a team local pTeamName = getTeamName ( pTeam ) -- get's the name of the playersTeam if pTeamName == chekName then -- chek if the players team name matches with the variable outputChatBox ( "*Welcome, "..getPlayerName ( player ).."!", player, 255, 0, 0) -- if its in the team then output: "Welcome, yourname !" else -- if the team isn't matching setElementPosition ( player, x,y,z ) -- change this to the warp point if the player isn't in the team. end end end end )
  11. @6ArHxiMr'3a[Z]eF Please, speak better english. @prodigy285 Read the wiki. https://wiki.multitheftauto.com/wiki/CreateColRectangle And then change it with moveObject, and etc.
  12. Hmmm, I reconnected and it was loaded, so the problem is fixed thanks guys (maybe it is the new loading system)
  13. The "♥" symbols are working in the chat. After that, if you want to set "♥" symbols (illegal nichname characters) in your nickname use then setPlayerNameTagText (idk if it works)
  14. Still need some help with it.
  15. Why would you change the code if "start" is outputting, I think it's related to the model.
  16. Yes, it is turning white and then returns to the default model.
  17. No errors at all, since everything is working correclty with the script loading. My meta.xml: <meta> <script src="mod.lua" type="client" /> <file src="bami.dff" /> </meta> And it's outputting "start".
  18. ... My way what I have done once for a multi gamemode. >Read the meta of the file for the .map file and .lua files. >Read the .map file as an XML, load all the object positions in a table. >Loop trough the table and create the objects >Create your costum race (mapname, countdown) For scripts: >Load the scripts on the client side with loadstring >Make wrappers for unloading >Profit Good luck!
  19. Hi guys, I don't know if I'm in the good topic but I have a problem with my 3d model. I tried to replace the "vinewood" sign, I gained the dff model from the img file, and then started to edit it. My result was pretty nice, exported it without any problems. In-game I started the script, without luck, no crash at all, but the model didn't loaded my dff file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rgzcpv3v5brllip/bami.dff My script: function laad() local dff1 = engineLoadDFF("bami.dff", 13831 ) engineReplaceModel(dff1, 13831) outputChatBox ( "start") end addEventHandler("onClientResourceStart", resourceRoot, laad) addCommandHandler ( "laad", laad ) What am I doing wrong? Regards, Danny
  20. You need to make a costum map loader first. After that you need to edit race for the players be able to switch to that map.
  21. You still need to edit race hahahahaha You should start with something else... instead of a multigamemode.
  22. Hi there. I occured some bugs with my keyboard and my mouse in-game. Why that? When I'm playing MTA for example and I'm driving in a car and then for example press "d" and then release it within one second or more then my car control will stay steering to the right, it's very annoying in race servers. I scanned recently my pc, after that no viruses nor infected files. My friend has the same bugs as me. Let me talk easier to understand: -In-game I'm driving and then I'm pressing "d" or "a" (vehicle control left or right) -I'm releasing the "d" or "a" -After that, I'm still driving left, or right with my vehicle. -I need to repress the key to stop the bug effect. Also, I included my dxDiag: ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 7/1/2013, 12:25:58 Machine name: DENNIS-PC Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130318-1533) Language: Dutch (Regional Setting: Dutch) System Manufacturer: System manufacturer System Model: System Product Name BIOS: BIOS Date: 05/04/11 11:42:05 Ver: 03.20 Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz Memory: 12288MB RAM Available OS Memory: 12286MB RAM Page File: 2876MB used, 21694MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found. 23. Because "player" isn't defined. It's even saying it in the errorlog. "[Expected element at argument 1, got nil]"
