  1. The Urban Legends are currently after somebody who is very talented in the GFX/Movie Editing side of things.

    Provided you have a microphone, can talk and have the Editing skills to back it, you may well have a high chance of getting into [uL]! Don't worry about the skill side of things as we'll train you up in return for your GFX/Movie Editing skills.

    We expect you to have a basic understanding of SA:MP and/or MTA DeathMatch.

  3. I've seen the ingame weapons as objects on SA-MP, I've also seen websites with the object ids but yet when you search for them on MTA Map Editor you don't get anything. Apparently you can also get clothing as objects too.

    How can you get the ingame weapons/clothes as objects on mta map editor?

  4. It is a streaming problem in that case, imagine having 500 players on your screen, together with 500 cars, 500 NPCs and a bunch of crashing effects.

    I wonder if MTA could bluescreen your windows?

    Well i was on a test server for 0.3, there was 500 people all in place. I wouldn't say 500 vehicles, but damn close outside. It didnt crash or anything, was just laggy for me. (I dont have a good PC :P)

  5. Besides LU, there actually aren't any that were ever completed, and as of this moment in time, LU still isn't done. GTA3:MTA (up to MTA 0.5) was the only one ever actually released.

    what about LC-MP? That was released, but nobody plays it anymore :P

  6. Hey i've been working on a map for a roleplay server for about a week now, I was nearly finished. When I went to save it, I noticed I couldn't come out of the save menu screen. Clicking on 'save' or 'cancel' didnt work. But I was still able to go onto the main menu 'disconnect, server list etc.' so I clicked on disconnect. When I went back on the map editor later, I noticed my file was no longer on the list. When I checked in the program files, my file was there. But instead of being at least 34kb+ it was 1kb. Anybody know what happened? And how to get my map back. :S

  7. Hey, I noticed that you can edit interiors and stuff. But theres a few missing, some of them dont work (like the Catalina bar) and I was wondering if people here could post the co-ordinates for the interiors that are either missing, or wrong. :)

  8. Hey, when I try to go on the map editor it seems to work fine whilst its trying to connect. But just when it gets to 'connecting to game' after a while it goes 'connection timed out'. Anybody know whats up? :S

  9. Bump, sadly I had to end the clan due to my Cousin's leukemi returning, and I have exams coming up and had no time to lead the clan anymore. Most of our members either:

    Quit SA-MP

    Left DMing scene and went to Stunting/Roleplay

    Joined another clan (Although very few members did this)

    The rest (Me, DeviL_SoN, pen3dr3k, genyus, xay0r, Anthrax, Respect and Barney/Uranium) joined (UvH) Ultra Violent Hooligans with me, John1337/John and RiPPER are soon to join us at (UvH) :D

  10. I wonder if a sort of "antilag" system is possible like most modern shooters have.

    Server keeps a series of frames. If the client hits something, check back to that time on the server and run the trace, if the person was there at the time you shot, register the hit, despite your shots being delayed because of the ping difference.

    Its called lag compensation, and yes, MTA does do it.

    Well I still have too shoot ahead half of the time. :|
